SuperCare Health and UC Davis have collaborated on a pilot program to provide telehealth respiratory support for patients with neuromuscular conditions.
Micaela Sarazen, BSRT, RRT, a respiratory therapist with UC Davis, presented a poster during The ALS Association 2016 Clinical Conference on ongoing results from this pilot program. The conference was held in San Diego on Nov. 2-4.
The researchers concluded that “working as a cohesive team using telehealth technology allows for improved respiratory care management.”
SuperCare Health exhibited at the conference to provide additional details on the company’s neuromuscular support program and how clinical care teams can implement the program for the benefit of their restrictive lung disease patients.
